“…in view of God’s mercy…”
Please join me in memorizing Romans 12. Take it a page at a time in this mini book if you need to. Come “hide” His word in your heart that you might not sin against Him.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rom. 12:1-2

I keep thinking it would take a year for a group of men to memorize Romans 12. Keeping in mind that the memorizing the passage is only the icing on the cake. It is the ACT of memorizing that would change the life–the daily focus on Romans 12.
As I look around me at all the media opportunities; blogs, facebook, twitter… I know there is a way to start a grass-roots effort for men’s ministries across this country to focus on Father’s Day 2014, to get a million men reciting the passage in their local congregations.
Our churches would not be the same…
Hi Dennis, great vision. What a dream. This would transform many I’m sure. This chapter centers us.
How would the men organize? How would they share their commitments?
What would it look like if 50 men memorized Romans 12 together and recited the chapter on Fathers Day. I have had this dream for the past 10 years that a ‘grass-roots’ fire would ignite in the hearts and minds of men across our country resulting in a million men reciting Romans 12 on Fathers Day. The power of God’s Word in the hearts and minds of men would bring about remarkable change in the lives of men.
How can we ignite this fire…
